Yesterday I officially became an aunt to two beautiful children! And no, neither of my sisters has had any kids! Coleman and Caroline, my nephew and niece, along with their parents Curtis and Michelle, were in my small group at Orientation. One of the greatest aspects of my time in training was the relationships I was able to build. Our group of 239 truly felt like one big family and more than anything else about orientation, I will miss those people. As missionaries, we learn to leave our own families behind and to become family to one another, for we are able to understand one another in ways that no one else can because we experience so much together. My favorite part though is that I get to be an aunt and experience the blessing that is! Below are a few pictures of Coleman and Caroline, as well as a few other pictures from our last few days at FPO (Field Personnel Orientation). Enjoy!

Hello friends! I know I have been out of the blogspot world for quite awhile (and really, how into it was I with only one post?), but I am back, for real this time! I am almost done with my training time at the International Learning Center. It has been a crazy busy time, but lots and lots of fun. I will post more pictures when I get a chance, but for now, here's one of some of the girls I've been spending a lot of time with! If you haven't gotten an update email from me, please send me your email address at email@example.com. Also, please email me your mailing address (even if I already have it) so that I can send you a prayercard. Thanks so much!

adriannoel7: i'm listening to "share the well" by caedmon's call - wow, what a great project - and i can't help but get a bit emotional as i think about god's great plans for your life. i am so proud of you my love. i consider it such a great honor to know you and even greater to have such a close relationship with you. i'm so anxious to see all of the mind-blowing plans god will bring to fruitition in your life this year - it's quite an exciting ride
i'm sure this isn't exactly what a "first post" should be, but oh well. the above is a message my best friend left me today. wow, i just love it when God uses other people to say, "hey, remember how much i love you? yah, i just wanted to tell you one more time."
