Queretaro
This weekend, Laura and I traveled to Queretaro to visit Garry and Lori Jones (missionary friends) before they return to the states in a couple of weeks. We had a great weekend and enjoyed lots of Golf (card game) and Farkel (dice game), not to mention some great shopping in a nearby city (San Miguel de Allende) and sightseeing. Queretaro is known for its aqueducts, which run through the heart of the city and were originally constructed to bring water to a convent.
Garry shows off his impressive digital scoreboard for Golf.At the end of the aqueducts

at some point the girls disappeared upstairs and this is what we saw when they returned:matt blowing out the candles on his apple pie

she's not that spoiled.....
izzy got fixed a couple of weeks ago. it didn't seem to slow her down much even though she had to wear a bandage for a week or so.she took her love of shredding tissue to a new level this week when she got ahold of a roll of paper towels.
